Kam started his entrepreneurial career in 1994 by co-founding Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies, Inc. (SGT), a government services company focusing on IT, engineering, science applications, and mission operations. SGT became NASA's second-largest engineering services contractor, generating annual revenues of over half a billion dollars. It was eventually acquired by KBR. Kam previously held numerous technical and management positions at Lockheed Martin, Ford Aerospace, and Loral, among others.
Throughout his 35-plus year career, Kam has created multiple successful companies and has extensive experience working at the intersection of government contracting and technological innovation. His companies have worked with NASA, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Department of Energy, among others, on some of their most sensitive and technically advanced projects.
Today, Kam is leveraging his experience in innovation and building world-class teams for groundbreaking deep-tech companies to expand the commercial space economy and create clean energy solutions. Kam is an American citizen born in Iran. He first came to the United States at the age of 18 to pursue higher education. Kam remained in the United States to continue his studies and follow career opportunities. Since then, he has lived the American Dream and has worked hard to help others around the globe. He is a proud father and grandfather.
