Sofia Hernandez – Tapia is the Executive Assistant in the Marketing Department. She serves as a support to the Chief Marketing Officer, Executive Leadership Team, and marketing operations. She is also the former Office Coordinator and Human Resources Generalist for the XPRIZE People & Culture Department.

Prior to joining XPRIZE, Sofia was the Office Manager for Hire Options Inc., a staffing agency where she managed all administrative tasks for candidates/clients and managed all facility operations. In addition, Sofia seasonally works with Insomniac Events as a supervisor to their harm reduction department. She assists in the department’s operations logistics and staffing of seasonal employees for different music events all over the United States, Mexico, and Colombia. 

Sofia admires adventure and the possibilities that come from imagination. She enjoys creating experiences for others and investing time to give back. In her free time you can catch Sofia attending a music festival or spending time with family and friends.
